My birth preparation workshop is about understanding the birth process and the factors and processes that go with it, and about using this knowledge specifically for mental and emotional preparation. I will specifically address YOUR wishes, ideals, fears, questions, etc. related to birth and give you the space you need to prepare for a self-determined birth in the best possible way. The aim is to remove everything that could potentially stand in the way of a positive birth experience, to strengthen confidence in your own ability to give birth, and to create a feeling of strength, self-confidence and anticipation when the thought of giving birth arises. Another key aspect of my birth preparation workshop is to precisely define the role of the partner during the birth and to show ways in which the partner can support the woman giving birth and be at her side in the best possible way. In addition to specialist knowledge and experience, I also share practical tips, preparatory exercises and information on pain-relieving aids that you can use during childbirth.
